My practice is evidence-based and behaviorally focused. I integrate neuropsychological principles and arousal regulation into the assessment and treatment of trauma, dissociation, and the long-term psychological effects of acute and developmental trauma. I work with individuals who need direct, clinically grounded intervention.
My focus includes PTSD, childhood maltreatment, dissociative responses, and process addictions such as compulsive sexual behavior, gambling, pornography, and digital overuse. I also work with personality disturbance rooted in trauma, including chronic shame, instability, reactivity, & impulse control issues.
I hold a PhD in clinical psychology, two master’s degrees in clinical and counseling psychology, and have over 40 years of experience treating trauma and addiction in both civilian and institutional settings. My background also includes university teaching, neuropsychological assessment & field deployment as a disaster responder.
