I prefer to use an eclectic approach dependent on the needs of the client. My skills and tools include cognitive restructuring, behavioral adaptations, positive re-enforcements/affirmations, guided imagery, bilateral stimulation (formally EMDR); mind-body re-connecting, and communication skill building.
I am interactive in my approach and encourage homework exercises and skill building activities. I am accessible by cell phone or e-mail 24/7 in case of emergency. I am working via telehealth/video during the pandemic for everyone's safety.
