I've specialized in relationship and parenting issues, particularly inter-racial relationship issues; alcohol/drug abuse, codependency, adult children of alcoholics, and family of origin issues.
It is also important to take a holistic approach which looks at the whole person; (physically, emotionally, mentally, spiritually) and looks at the person in their environment, as well as considering ethnic/cultural differences, gender, and sexual orientation factors. Inter-racial couples work explores issues of power, privilege, racial awareness, etc.
