My experience growing up in a family where addiction caused great pain led me to my own problematic relationships with people, food, money and religion. Now I care about myself in ways that I never imagined possible before taking those first scary steps into my therapist’s office and asking for help. I experience life and relationships in more rewarding ways than was previously possible for me.
