Goals of therapy can include changing behaviors that are holding you back, healing pain from your past, managing depression and anxiety, building relationship skills, and handling strong emotions such as fear, anger, sadness, and grief, to name just a few.
As a therapist, I have worked with clients of all ages and needs. I have worked extensively with clients with social and educational challenges while in high school, college, med-school and law school.
I believe the counseling relationship is essential to successful counseling and that trust and understanding are necessary to provide an environment for growth and change.
