I work with adults of all ages and youths ages 13-19. I am credentialed in addictions counseling and understand how this may influence some of my clients. I love helping clients resolve trauma pain and the issues that come with that. I have helped clients suffering with schizophrenia and schizoaffective disorders. You can make friends with the voices. Clients suffering from self-harming behaviors are some of my favorite people. The relationship with them grows as they learn new ways to direct and release their pain. You are not alone.
I have many years’ experiences in the field of behavioral health. Experience in both residential and outpatient settings. I am a believer in the therapeutic alliance and use evidence based and client centered therapies in my practice. I am certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy this helps me help you to overcome your pain.
If you have been reluctant to go to counseling, then I may be the counselor for you. I work well with those who have never been to counseling before and those who have never felt they could trust a counselor or feel that nobody has ever been able to help you. I am here for you.
