Hello, I enjoy working with individuals, couples and families I specialize in treating anxiety and depression. I have experience working with LGBTQ+ and BIPOC communities. I also enjoy working with teenage and younger clients. I see many people who are going through life transitions. When one is going through grief and loss, education challenges, relationship difficulties, a new family member, pain or illness, it can be particularly difficult to cope and particularly beneficial to be in therapy to work through these issues with an unbiased ear. I also specialize in working with individuals who have struggles with chronic pain.

Workplace trauma has increased, especially for those in the helping professions. I identify as white, cisgender, and queer, and I work from an understanding of how privilege and power show up in my personal life, as well as in my therapy practice. My approach affirms my clients’ racial identities, sexual orientation, gender identities, and body size. I maintain awareness of how oppression can impact our internal and external experiences.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Holistic Nutritionist. With my background in both disciplines, I believe strongly in looking at both the physical and mental factors that may be impacting a person's life. I worked for over 20 years in community mental health and private practice helping clients address anxiety, postpartum depression, food and body image struggles, divorce, ADHD, stress, depression, parenting, work/life balance and attachment. I feel the therapy room should be a safe, non-judgmental place to explore everything that is impacting your life.
