I am certified in Exposure and Response Prevention for OCD, trauma trained with EMDR, offer individual DBT, and provide brain rehab/ coaching for the neurodivergent ("spicy" brains).
I work from a holistic approach to life, learning, and healing; everything is connected in some way. Once you identify and master the connections that work for you, then the doing just makes sense, and you move forward with new life practices. My clients heal painful past experiences with current awareness, start trusting & caring for themselves, learn how to identify & break from toxic relationships while developing healthy ones, establish skills & routines to improve follow-through, gain emotion regulation, develop skills for problem-solving/ decision-making, and overcome harmful thoughts and behavior patterns.

I work mostly with the subconscious and superconscious to address and clear trauma and outdated beliefs, creating a pathway to a more fulfilling life.
Most of my clients are highly sensitive people who have strong intuition and want to work in a deep way. They often are therapists, healers, psychics and people for whom direct experience spirituality is important. Many of them have experienced talk therapy and want to go deeper, recognizing that the roots of most emotional or cognitive issues are below ordinary consciousness. They are seeking life-changing experience rather than mental insight. They appreciate a therapist who can see and acknowledge their inherent wisdom and power as a soul, and they are seeking a therapist who is highly trained and also works intuitively.

I provide online counseling specializing in anxiety, self-esteem, maternal mental health, and trauma.
I value the mind-body connection and believe we can find healing when we approach our health from a holistic perspective. Counseling requires a lot of effort and can only be truly transformative if you show up as yourself. I will show up as mine and that may include laughing, maybe some crying, and definitely some hard conversations. I am passionate about helping women adjust to motherhood, women experiencing fertility challenges, and those with anxiety and self-esteem issues. My role is to listen, ask questions, guide, and challenge you to shape your own path.

I have a relational, holistic, and trauma-informed lens.
Life can sometimes move too fast, too slow, or just be a bit too much – it can throw you off-balance as things continue to change around you. You may feel overwhelmed, frustrated, or discouraged when you try so hard to get by but still feel like things are not going the way you wish it would. All of this is even harder when you have burdens from past traumas or aren’t sure where you want to go. The truth is that behind all the struggle, life curveballs and misunderstandings you may experience, there is strength within you that can be uncovered and brought to the forefront.

This is not a "simple thing," finding someone you can connect with to help in your journey can change your life. I know that sentence can be both terrifying and hopeful and I welcome all those parts. I show up with compassion, challenge, warmth, and honesty. Helping you show up to yourself and others is an important part of growth and connection, and we all need it. I offer a holistic approach to therapy, which takes into consideration body, mind/soul, and spirit. I am also trained in Internal Family Systems, an integrative model of realigning ourselves in wholeness.

Trauma and PTSD Therapists

When should I seek treatment for trauma?

Not everyone who undergoes trauma needs therapy to heal, but many do. If, after experiencing a traumatic event, you find yourself struggling with symptoms such as nightmares, dissociation, irritability, or emotional numbness—especially if these symptoms last more than a month and are severe enough to interfere with your daily functioning—you may benefit from seeking out therapy with a trauma-informed provider.

How long does trauma therapy take?

Different types of therapy for trauma unfold on different timelines. Prolonged exposure therapy and cognitive processing therapy, for example, each take about three months, while trauma-informed CBT may last anywhere from 8 to 25 sessions. Other approaches, especially those that are less structured or that incorporate elements from multiple modalities, may be more open-ended, though many patients report feeling better within the first few months of treatment.

What happens if trauma is left untreated?

Unaddressed trauma can have serious—even devastating—effects on relationships, career, and day-to-day functioning. Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) can lead people to distrust or lash out at others, making it difficult to maintain intimate relationships; it can also trigger symptoms such as flashbacks or hyperreactivity that can interfere with a person’s ability to function effectively, personally and/or professionally. Some sufferers turn to drugs to find relief. Symptoms may lessen on their own with time, but there is no guarantee that PTSD will resolve on its own.

Can PTSD come back after treatment?

It is possible for PTSD symptoms to recur months or years after successful treatment. This is because, like most mental health disorders, it is not possible to “cure” PTSD, and stressful life events may cause symptoms to recur in even the most resilient individuals. There is no shame in re-experiencing PTSD symptoms nor in returning to therapy when such relapses occur; indeed, many forms of trauma therapy explicitly encourage periodic “maintenance sessions” to reinforce coping skills and ensure that symptoms stay manageable.
