I’m Donn Yeager, a Substance Abuse Counselor with over a decade of experience in the field. Since 2012, I’ve had the privilege of working in various roles, starting as a Residential Therapist at Calvary Addiction Recovery Center. I later served as the Clinical Director at Recovery in the Pines in Prescott, AZ, and I currently work at St. Luke's Behavioral Health Hospital. I’m passionate about serving others, and I find deep satisfaction in helping individuals struggling with addiction transform into productive members of society, which also aids in their families’ healing.
Before entering this field, I retired from the US Military, where I worked as a combat medic and Hospital Corpsman, retiring in 2001. During my time in the Military, I earned my Commercial Pilot License and flew for the Airlines, both while active duty and for several years after retiring. However, I discovered that my true passion lies in helping others.
I found my passion in helping others who are struggling with life's challenges. I chose to leave my career as an airline pilot so I could be home more with my new wife and focus on supporting those who were seeking help. My goal became to help them find more meaning and purpose in their lives.
