I believe that all of us want to live meaningful lives, connected to loved ones and contributing to the world in some way. To do so, we must learn to fully accept ourselves, connect with others in healthy ways, and develop our unique gifts. My intention as a therapist is to create a warm and safe space for you to do the brave work of addressing past wounds, updating stories that keep you small, and helping you grow a sense of inner peace and outer resilience. As social animals, we humans often need trusted relational support to heal and evolve into our true potential. I am honored to be that person and create that space for you!

As humans we are deeply influenced by our external environment. In turn, we risk losing our individuality. If you know this to be true, you might feel as though you are living a life that someone/something else has designed for you & that you feel you should look, act, & be a certain way. You may begin to realize that who you think you are, isn’t who you truly are & that it's time to be you regardless of what anyone says. However, the resistance & fear of your mind shows up & you remain living life as is. But the path to healing doesn’t start with the mind, it starts with the body b/c emotions are stored in the body.

If you, or someone you love is currently experiencing unbearable stress levels, major mental illness, or going through a traumatic experience, I am here to help. There is no shame in asking for help, its actually a sign of courage to reach out, and make an effort to change. My specialties include; trauma, self-esteem, parenting, relationships, grief, death or divorce, fears and phobias, anger issues, sexual abuse, substance abuse, stress management. I teach interpersonal relationship skills, emotional regulation & distress tolerance skills. I also diagnose all mental health disorders based on DSMV.

I am licensed in CO and UT. I work with women and specialize in trauma recovery, EMDR therapy, somatic modalities and creative processes that help build a capacity to meet challenges as an opportunity for growth. I offer caring, compassionate support and focused guidance to help people trust their own inner wisdom and self-healing abilities and make lasting changes in their lives.

My ideal clients are adults experiencing burnout in helping professions, or who are at a transitional time in life. You know there is more out there, but you are stuck in a routine of your own making that doesn’t match what you know is possible. My clients are most often highly intelligent, self aware, and marginalized people who have a history of trauma and have struggled with perfectionism and over-achieving their entire lives. You may people please, feel overly empathetic and drained by others’ problems and emotions, or wonder why others don’t notice the larger, systemic issues at work or in society that seem so obvious to you.
