I offer a supportive, encouraging and pragmatic approach, and will partner with you to help you understand how and why you were designed to heal and overcome everything from severe childhood trauma to the everyday struggles of parenting, marriage and interpersonal relationships. Once the how and why are established, then we move on to helping you actively create new patterns in your life that will lead you, and often others connected to you, on the path to becoming everything you and they are meant to be.

I view the counseling process as forming a trusting relationship with you to explore the nature of who you are, why you are, & the nature of the problems you face. I use an eclectic approach including a variety of counseling theories to meet individual needs. I believe there is purpose in behavior which is shaped by positive, negative, and traumatic experiences. Throughout the counseling process we will explore how negative thoughts & experiences have reinforced the perception of oneself & worldview, and how to replace negative thinking patterns/behaviors to increase self-worth leading to fulfilling relationships and connections.

All of life is layered with loss, pain, hardship, and suffering. In the midst of these layers is the possibility for insight, change, courage, growth, and wholeness. “Change” is possible, but it is never straightforward especially when we find ourselves in the middle of it. As human beings, our entire lives are inherently developmental in nature. The complex process by which we may courageously begin to show up differently in our lives, and even in ourselves can be incredibly difficult to navigate at times. We are not meant to accomplish this on our own, and this is especially true after any sustained trauma. Everyone—regardless of age—is deserving of a space devoted to their growth and recovery. Madi Pozner attend MSU Denver, where she received her masters degree in social work. She is a social work candidate in Colorado and soon to be LCSW. Prior to receiving her masters degree, Madi was a third grade teacher in Douglas County. She is passionate about working with youth and adolescents as well as families and utilizes a strength based approach in her work with her clients. Madi works with her clients to identify their individual strengths and resources to grow in the face of adversity.

Joy is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has been practicing since 2019. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Medical Humanities from Baylor University and a Master of Arts degree in Mental Health Counseling from Denver Seminary. Joy's therapeutic approach combines action and insight by utilizing modalities including but not limited to DBT, CBT, TF-CBT, Attachment, Person-centered, Family Systems, and Structural Family Systems. She specializes in working with foster and adoptive families, members of the Queer community, and youth with high risk behaviors.

Turqoyz Rogahn is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Colorado who has been practicing since 2015. She has a Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling, Couples and Family Therapy from the University of Northern Colorado.
