Over the years we have both made some bad mistakes and have hurt each other. Now, we hardly talk and when we do it becomes an argument, we say a lot of hurtful things to each other. In our last argument, things got really out of hand, and he left the house, slamming the door, and hasn't been back home since. I have been crying since last night. We love each other, but, after our last fight I just don’t know what to do or where to go from here. I really need some help.

I have been in the field for over 15 years and have worked with an array of populations. My experience is in the areas of trauma, PTSD, ADHD, adolescents (at-risk youth), relationship issues, divorce, and law enforcement issues. In addition, I have experience working with veterans to provide a second opinion and/or assessment in support of their VA Disability claims.

Accepting new clients. With over 13 years of experience, I have a passion for helping others discover their best selves. Fears, anxieties, and difficult circumstances can leave us feeling stuck and hold us back from living the life we truly want. I join with my clients to explore barriers and overcome them to create a sense of peace and wholeness. Through my training I’ve helped clients from many walks of life understand and develop skills to manage depression, anxiety, major life-transitions, grief, and trauma. I've worked in the mental health field for over 23 years, serving in both the military and civilian settings. I specialize in treating unresolved trauma issues, as well as depression, stress and anxiety. Traumatic issues include childhood abuse (physical, sexual, emotional abuse and neglect), sexual assault (including military), crime/theft, car accidents, grief/loss, combat, first responders/medical professionals, veterans (including moral injury) and poor leadership. My experience has taught me that most of the time depression and anxiety are unresolved emotional wounds that haven't been fully addressed.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I attended the University of Texas San Antonio, where I earned my Master of Social Work degree. I have been in the helping profession for over 10 years, and got my start in working with children in residential care through the foster care system. Throughout my career I have been an advocate and mentor for children, teens, and young adults experiencing social and emotional turmoil. ​
