My name is Tiffany Viveros and I am excited to be a part of Grow Therapy! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas and have been in private practice for almost 15 years. I have also been a math teacher, a technology teacher and a volleyball, basketball and track coach. I am a Trauma Certified Family Life Educator, Researcher, and Coach. I am the owner of Bridging the Gaps Family Life Services where I offer family life coaching and education for families experiencing significant life transitions and distress. I am passionate about helping families in crisis and supporting women who are mothers of tweens, teens, and young adults who are experiencing identity distress and trauma. Many of my clients are looking for skills and resources to navigate overwhelm, chronic stress, caregiver fatigue, and maternal burnout while, also, creating deeper connections with their children, family, and friends.

I help women build resilience to weather the storms of life with grace and strength. I know the importance of being able to bounce back from loss, disappointment, or crisis. As a therapist who works with women stung and damaged by all sorts of life events, I believe that resilience is one of the single most important qualities that enables us to bounce back from the edge. Resilience allows us to find our strength in adverse circumstances. It requires a willingness to fall apart for a time and get in touch with our pain. There is much healing that can be accomplished by getting to know yourself at your rawest and darkest times.

I’m a recovering perfectionist. And I thought I was doing pretty good with my journey, until I experienced an unexpected major stroke. That major life crisis was, ironically, a great opportunity to reassess what I was doing to take care of myself…physically and emotionally. As a high-achieving Black woman who was recovering from perfectionism, turned into a Black woman who is a stroke survivor, I’m passionate about helping other high-achieving women of color to pause, to breathe, and to assess what they are doing to take care of themselves…physically and emotionally.
