I look forward to working with you! As a specialist in treating trauma, I am passionate about helping clients strengthen resilience & improve relationships. My aim is to help you better handle difficult emotions and feel more self-compassion and self-acceptance. I enjoy helping couples and individuals with relationship issues (such as ineffective patterns of communicating, intimacy/attachment issues, invalidation, shame defense mechanisms) to heal and grow. I integrate wellness, interpersonal neurobiology, somatic psychology, cognitive behavioral therapy, and attachment theory in my work.

I offer both neuropsychological testing services, as well as individual therapy services for a range of conditions. Testing is for both children and adults; therapy services are offered to persons age 18 and up.

Dr. Fortman serves as clinical faculty at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine and in full-time private practice. A former member of the Sexual Orientation and Gender Institute (SOGI) and staff psychologist at the Center on Halsted, he continues to provide supervision to graduate students. He trained at The Ohio State University, University of Virginia, and Sarah Lawrence College and has worked onsite at Google and Uber. Dr. Fortman is experienced in helping people who are struggling with relationship difficulties, anxiety & depression, low self esteem, LGBT related issues, grief, abuse & neglect, and trauma.

Dr. Margret O'Reilly received a Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from Adler University-Chicago, (August 2014), an APA accredited program. She earned her M.A. in Counseling Psychology with a concentration in Art Therapy from Adler University in (August 2009) and trained at The University of Chicago Comer Children's Hospital. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at Primary Care Psychology Associates where she worked in collaboration with Northwestern Memorial Physicians Group Pediatrics, and Adult Internal Medicine in Chicago, IL.

Christopher Allen is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Illinois who has been practicing since 2020. Christopher completed his undergraduate degree in Psychology at Purdue University and his Master's degree from the Indiana University School of Social Work at IUPUI. He has experience working with a variety of populations including individuals spanning from teens to geriatric patients, substance use disorders, college students, couples, and older adults. Christopher has worked in a variety of environments including private practice, inpatient, outpatient clinic, schools, and community-based treatments.

My goal is to help families to best understand their child's overall strengths and areas of difficulties. Once we have a clear picture of their child, I help to create a plan of action that will help them to best support their child's overall development.

Whether clients have been in therapy before or are seeking a therapist for the first time, Hattie recognizes the challenges of starting with someone new. She primarily uses ACT which combines cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness practices to help clients achieve their goals. Hattie draws from psychodynamic therapy, DBT, and internal family systems as well, tailoring her approach to each individual. Hattie focuses on the mind-body connection throughout her work. She sees the client-therapist relationship as foundational to effective therapy and fosters an atmosphere of warmth and compassion.

Dr. Heidi Ramirez is currently a post-doctoral psychologist. She graduated with a doctorate of psychology (Psy.D.) in clinical forensic psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, Los Angeles Campus. Her clinical experience consists of working with underserved populations, specifically with incarcerated adolescents and adult males. She began her training with children and adolescents who were assigned to a trauma-informed charter school in Los Angeles, CA and completed her pre-doctoral internship at a forensic psychological private practice in Tempe, AZ.

My goal is to facilitate the identification of viable solutions. I have 6 Full Clinical Licenses in 5 States-CA, IL, IN, MI, & NV.

My ideal client longs to lean into their creativity, strengths, support system, and resilience. They want to see meaningful, healthy change in their lives.
