Traditionally, I use Functional Family Therapy intertwined with Cognitive Behavior Therapy in helping people find their joy again. I have over 30 years experience as a Licensed Psychologist helping adults with stress management, depression and bipolar disorders, anxiety, grief/loss, couple issues, work-related problems, etc. I work collaboratively with my clients using my own modification of "Multimodal" and "Multitheoretical Integrative" Therapies, a comprehensive approach to counseling that takes all areas of human functioning into consideration ( mental, physical, behavioral, emotional, interpersonal, spiritual, etc.). I have traditional Christian ethics but don't impose those values on my clients, working with those from any faith.

I help clients learn communication, motivation, relationship, and coping skills for mood and/or ADHD/executive functioning symptoms. I graduated from Georgetown College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and earned my Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from EKU. I specialize in working with individuals and couples struggling with substance abuse and mental health concerns.
