Emotional pain can sometimes feel worse than any physical pain you have experienced. My interest is partnering with clients providing information and strategies that come from clinical research complimenting Biblical truths leading to deeper and more satisfying relationships within the family. Areas often addressed in therapy include; grief and loss, family changes, and communication styles many of which are positively impacted by increasing 'Emotional Intelligence'. Emotional Intelligence encompasses self-awareness, understanding and managing emotions, learning how to appropriately respond and connect to people/situations, and developing and maintaining healthy relationships. Adults, as well as, children often experience frustration when attempting to balance the demands of life while making and maintaining connections with others.

As a licensed clinician, I focus on meeting with clients who suffer from trauma, depression, anxiety, life transitions, and mood disorders. I also help those who just need someone to talk to about life stressors and life decisions. I utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques such as CBT , Person Centered Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. I am also trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy(ART) for trauma. I believe in assisting clients in finding their internal strengths and overcoming stressors. I offer both telehealth and in person options for therapy sessions depending on which you would prefer.
