My clients may be highly functioning while under stress or meeting challenges. However, I know looks can be deceiving. You can make it look really good but not be feeling good, or you may make choices that aren’t working out and are wondering why. This is a time when extra training and development is needed. I provide space for you to explore, meet challenges, increase understanding, navigate relationships, better communication, and process events.

Sometimes you come into counseling knowing exactly what you want to change and sometimes it takes time for us to discover this together. Whatever your issue may be, we can collaboratively work through your issues together. My background is varied as I have experience working with children as well as adults. I believe no problem is too big or too small to tackle.

I am passionate about working with individuals between the ages of 18 and 65 who are seeking support and guidance in their journey toward mental and emotional well-being. My goal as a therapist is to provide a supportive space where you can feel safe to explore and understand your strengths as well as your personal challenges.  It’s OK to not have it all figured out right now, and with time you’ll be able to connect the dots in your life.  You already have what it takes to get there.  It takes courage to get there, and sometimes the support of a therapist.

I am a Clinical Psychologist and have experience working with adults, adolescents, groups, couples, and families. I completed internship and post doctoral training in Health Psychology at The University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. I completed an additional postdoc in psychodynamic/psychoanalytic insight oriented psychotherapy and am a Board member wit the Southeast Florida Association for Psychoanalytic Psychology (SEFAPP). I have experience with a broad range of mental health difficulties and have specialized in multiple treatment approaches in order to provide optimal treatment and care.

I am a licensed clinical mental health therapist in the state of Florida and Wyoming. I approach therapy by developing a collaborative approach to meet your needs and develop goals. My practice focus is on areas of trauma recovery, anxiety, relationships, and those negatively impacted by trauma/abuse aspects from engagement in social media/technology. I am a psychotherapist & physical therapist specializing in therapy for the mind & body from an integrative perspective. I work with adolescents & adults (individual, couple, and/or family sessions). I assist with emotional, psychosocial issues (anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, relationship & self-esteem difficulties, aspects of addiction), & physical issues (chronic pain, headaches, stomach problems, pre/post natal). I have a Bachelor's in Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania, a Master's in Social Work from New York University and a Certificate in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy from the Contemporary Freudian Society. Prior to moving back home to Miami, I practiced in New York City for several years.
