I will teach you tools to better prepare for the daily challenges of life. We will achieve insight into your feelings and experiences and set goals together in a supportive and non-judgmental environment where you can be your true self. I have over 10 years of experience working with families, children, and adolescents. In the past 5 years, I have expanded to working with adults and supervising up-and-coming therapists helping them build their practice and presence as counselors. I specialize in anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and personal growth. My background is in humanistic, existential, and transpersonal therapy.

I approach therapy from a holistic perspective, incorporating the mind, body, and spirit as one. I believe that each person has a soul and a purpose, and my goal is to provide guidance and facilitation to help a client reconnect with one's passion and live life more authentically and with meaning.

My mission as a counselor is to meet every client where they are in their journey of life with the hopes of being able to aid them with tools to navigate appropriately through life. I use a holistic therapeutic approach with the overall goal in mind to help individuals develop a deeper understanding of themselves regarding their spiritual, physical, mental and emotional well-being, coupled with approaches ranging from Reality Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy and Person-Centered Therapy.

Moeller and Associates was founded in 1995. All clinicians have a Masters Degree or PhD in Psychology, Social Work, or Counseling along with designated State Licensure and/or Certifications. This team offers expertise in mood disorders, anxiety disorders substance abuse, relationship/marital issues, grief counseling, and workplace issues. Populations served are for children, adolescents, and adults of various multi-national backgrounds. All clinicians within the team participate in ongoing education and training allowing them cutting edge knowledge of behavioral healthcare and interventions to improve one's mental health. I am certified in Anger Management and a Registered Behavior Technician and my therapeutic approach is rooted in Person-Centered, Existential, CBT, and Solution-Focused Therapy. Recognizing the uniqueness of each individual and focusing on tailoring therapeutic methods to meet your specific needs. I hold the belief that you are the expert in your mental health journey. My role is to provide a warm, empathetic space for listening and support and look forward to the opportunity to work alongside you.

Many clients struggle with anxiety, depression, grief, substance abuse, and relational conflicts. The goal for all of my clients to become a healthier and more functional version of themselves. My goal is to help guide my clients to where they need/want to be despite whether or not they are currently on that path. As a counselor, I do not wear the "expert cap", because this is your life, your experiences, and your concerns. You are the expert on your life! I am here to provide an unbiased, safe place for you to talk to through (and live through) your experiences. All clients are treated equally and will be given the same unconditional positive regard. Anxiety is exhausting. It traps us in our thoughts and isolates us from loved ones and activities we once enjoyed. Depression weighs us down and make us forget our strengths. Trauma reduces life to painful memories, crowds out positive moments, and replaces them with anxiety and insecurity. I specialize in helping clients reclaim their lives from repetitive worries, rumination, and intrusive memories. I help them recover their identities through a range of therapies, including EMDR and DBT.

You'll almost always walk out of a session with a new technique or two that you can go home and start using immediately. I would like to offer support for those who are struggling with life's problems and in need of healing but have found it difficult to reach out for help. I am passionate about working with clients who struggle with depression, anxiety, drug and alcohol abuse, sex and porn addiction, bullying and low self-esteem, spiritual issues, grief and trauma recovery. I also have experience working with couples and families and enjoy seeing the healing that can occur in relationships through counseling. I see clients both in person and online.

Dustin works with individual adults and couples to address a wide range of needs, such as better understanding and managing reactive emotions that lead to negative interaction patterns and conflict. Navigating through grief and loss, work-life, balance, perfectionism, and motivation. Learning parenting skills/strategies, parenting a child on the autism spectrum or with ADHD. Management of adult ADHD symptoms and developing novel coping skills to emerging needs through stage of life changes. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to work with clients on stress management, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, panic disorder, substance abuse/addiction, and trauma/PTSD. My therapy is typically short-term, and I collaborate with clients to find solutions to increase coping skills and minimize anxiety. As a therapist, I like to actively engage with clients.
