I am passionate about helping women navigate major life transitions such as getting married, entering motherhood, changing careers, moving, or processing the ending of a relationship. It is easy to lose ourselves when taking on a new role and I love helping women reconnect with who they truly are and find joy again. In addition to treatment for anxiety, depression, and life transitions, I offer the unique focus of career counseling. I really enjoy helping others find true fulfillment in their vocations, as I have found that many mental health and relationship challenges often stem from an unhealthy work life.

I genuinely care about helping people to reach their potential and discover contentment. With 35 years of experience and numerous training workshops, I have many tools and skills to call upon. I focus on both short term stress/career issues and adults from neglectful/ abusive families. and I am compassionate and nurture my client's inner strength until they can believe in themselves. I seek individuals who are willing to work on the relationship, fear, addiction trauma or life transition that is blocking their personal joy in life. I work with women and men of all races and sexual orientations.

So many of us feel stuck in life. Burdened by the weight of our personal history, and constrained by our fears and self-doubts about the future, it can feel increasingly constricted. We struggle to find our bearings as we're confronted with the consequences of prior choices, many that don't make sense to us when we look back at them. Therapy allows you to slow down, to lay everything out before you. It's a chance to honestly and compassionately address the parts of self you'd like to change and to remember and reclaim the parts of self you've lost, particularly the ones that made you feel alive to the possibilities of what could be.

I look at your concerns in the context of your childhood experiences, your current family and your life environments. These patterns repeat themselves. People pick up on cues that communicate what you expect out of them and what they expect out of you. These patterns are no accident, you create them! The good news is you can change them! You are like a magnet, and I help you identify what you're attracting and we change your patterns of attraction to healthy ones. It takes practice, but it can be done, and it will affect the rest of your life!
