I began practicing Christian counseling in 1992 after working as a social worker and substance abuse treatment counselor since 1984. I graduated from Regent University in 1989 where I learned how to integrate psychology with a view of what fits a Biblical/Christian counseling approach. Although most of my clients want Christian counseling, some are just looking for a moral perspective. About half of my caseload are individuals with issues like depression, anxiety, sexual trauma and stressful life situations.
