I work with children, adolescents, adults and families who have been diagnosed with ADHD, anxiety, depression, conflict resolution, stress, self-esteem, trauma, and emotional issues.

I am a Marine veteran and earned my Master's Degree in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. Additionally, I am certified as a Licensed Professional Counselor in the states of Maryland and Virginia. Although I specialize in working with adults and adolescents struggling with depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, and trauma, I also work with a wide variety of persons including individuals, couples, families, underserved, international, minorities, as well as military personnel and their families.

I am a bilingual (Spanish/English), Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing in person and telehealth services. I graduated from USC with a Master's in Social Work. Experienced in working with children, adolescents, their families and seniors. I provide services to individuals with Depression, Anxiety, adjustments and burnout.

Amanda has extensive experience working with adolescents in school, group, and outpatient settings. Amanda currently specializes in mood disorders like anxiety and depression, self-esteem, peer relations, LGBTQIA+ issues, and life transitions for adolescents and young adults.

I believe that balance is essential to living life to the fullest. My goal is to help children, adolescents, and adults, to learn to navigate through difficult circumstances, instill hope and motivate them to go after their life goals. It is my genuine desire to enter into the broken life of a person and become a bridge through which they can walk to the other side of their brokenness with a new perspective. I am bilingual for people who prefer to converse in Spanish.

My ideal client would be a person who is looking for help in various areas in life. I envision myself helping the person that is in need focus on their issues with mental health, well being, spiritually, PTSD, relationship issues and depression. I have been through a lot in my journey of life, and I have learned with the right supports in place, you can see the silver lining in any situation! Rhys graduated from VCU in December of 2021 with a Master of Social Work. While Rhys is open to working with clients of all ages, he has worked extensively with children, adolescents and teens throughout his career. He specializes in working with members of the LBGTQIA+ community.
