I am a passionate, client-centered, and skilled Licensed Professional Counselor. I strive to meet my clients wherever they happen to be in the moment of seeking therapy and help them get to where they want to be through using evidence-based interventions, encouragement, support, and empowerment. It is my privilege to offer help and hope to my clients who are facing challenges in their life’s journey. I strongly believe that clients are the expert on their own lives and they have the answers to their own questions. My role is to work with my clients to find those answers, and help them become the best version of themselves.

I am currently accepting clients both through telehealth and in person! My passion has been to help my clients manage their mental health and ability to grow from within. The clients I support are people who struggle with mental health issues, addictions, family, couples' concerns. I've helped clients successfully navigate through abuse and trauma, life transitions and grief and loss. I specialize in human sexuality: sex education, sexual dysfunction, sexual health, sexual pleasure, navigating sex after health crisis, women's issues, postpartum, miscarriage, LGBTQ populations, sexual trauma and sex addiction.

No matter what background we come from life tends to bring its own suffering and difficulties. I view therapy as a place where challenges and painful emotions can be confronted in a safe and caring environment. My personality is warm and empathetic, and I aim to provide a place where clients feel heard, cared for, and listened to. I view clients as being the author of their own lives. Thus, I aim to be collaborative and to help come up with goals that are important and meaningful to you. My style is action oriented, and I try to push clients out of their comfort zones, through the use of mindfulness and behavioral changes.

I am a licensed marriage and family therapist and certified sex addiction therapist as well as Level 3 EMDR practitioner. I have been been practicing for over 25 years. I have specialized in infidelity, chronic infidelity, betrayal trauma and sexual addiction treatment since 1996 with a particular interest in working with partners. I develop partners programs utilizing the trauma model which views the partner as a victim of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. My private practice office is Blue Bell, Pennsylvania where I conduct groups, individual, couples and family therapy for sexual compulsion, partners and their families.

My study of Family Systems Theory informs my practice and is a great resource in working with clients. With compassion and understanding, I help individuals set goals; find resolutions to a wide range of personal concerns and psychological issues. I will work in collaboration with the client to come to terms with the tension, and begin the process of integration and healing. I have over 16 years experience in private practice working with individuals, couples, families and groups.
