Many are in search of a therapist because they have been feeling stuck, disempowered, or conflicted and would benefit from specialized support to gain greater psychological freedom and good health. To this end, we can explore your experience and expectations to foster insight and greater awareness of your needs. I offer a range of psychotherapeutic approaches to promote coping and make meaning out of problematic patterns, losses, trauma, depression, anxiety, stress and difficulty in relationships. Unique to your needs, I offer a co-created therapeutic space to facilitate change; trust, communication, attachment, growth and healing.
Individual, couples and family therapy sessions are available. Sessions are offered in my conveniently located Chelsea office in an atmosphere of safety that protects privacy and confidentiality. Specializations include psychoanalysis; trauma treatment; treatment of depression and loss; and work with stress related to gender, sexuality, and LGBTQIA+ issues.
I trained at the Manhattan Institute for Psychoanalysis and earned my Doctor of Psychoanalytic Studies degree at the Parkmore Institute. I am also a classical musician and recording artist, am the Principal Clarinetist of the Queer Urban Orchestra and am on the faculty of the Institute for Expressive Analysis.
