I value the relationship between the mind and body and primarily involve elements of IFS/parts work, mindfulness, acceptance and commitment therapy, and nervous system regulation.
I believe everyone deserves a warm, safe space to process life's experiences, so that is what I strive to provide! I specialize in supporting young adults, adults, and college students to compassionately navigate their inner world- working through things like anxiety, depression, trauma, life stressors/transitions, self worth, identity, and relationships. I support my clients in learning to connect to their emotions, understanding how external experiences have shaped internal patterns, healing wounds of the past, finding effective coping strategies, and working towards self-acceptance to create meaningful change.

I am trained in multiple modalities including sex therapy, relationship therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and emotionally focused couple's therapy.
I am a humanistic, certified sex therapist with a sharp wit, a generous dose of humor, and an intense but kind focus on core issues. Some of my clients are working toward feeling more connected in their relationships. Some are working to heal from traumas of the past. Most are looking for an expert therapist, who having tried multiple therapists, need a more comprehensive, philosophically grounded, deeper, and richer experience of self-exploration and healing. My goal is for my clients to experience a connection they may have never felt that helps them build insight, understanding, and the courage and power to heal and grow.

My passion is to support you in connecting with your desires, and to help you build a strong relationship with yourself and others.
Currently accepting new clients! I believe that we are our own healers. I am here to support you in understanding and creating whatever this may be for you in your life, whether it is an emotional, social, spiritual, or environmental changes.

My fees are: $200 for individual therapy and $250 for relationship work.
I specialize in sexual health, intimacy, and relationships, especially the one we have with self. I am passionate about helping you (and yours) enrich your lives—by empowering you to unpack what’s preventing you from fully embracing all of life’s pleasures. I believe that we all have the intrinsic ability to heal ourselves. In my practice, psychotherapy is a journey of self healing, with me as your guide. Connection is one of our most powerful tools, and through connecting with me, together, we will cultivate transformation and uncover the peace that lies within you.

My therapy style is flexible and client-centered. I believe that therapy is successful when the client-therapist relationship is strong and the treatment approach is tailored to meet the specific needs of the client. I have found that the ability to apply different theories and to take a holistic approach ensures the best possible therapeutic outcome.

I am very active in the therapy relationship and work hard to help clients uncover the dysfunctional patterns that get in the way of genuine, healthy relationships, career goals and personal happiness.
I am committed to helping individuals to find the best within themselves and to share that with those most important to them. Whether you are struggling with anxiety or depression, relationship difficulties (including "dating stress"), or life stresses, I always try to find what will be the most effective way to help you achieve your goals and live a happier, authentic, life.

I believe that the therapeutic relationship I build with each of my clients helps with understanding what may be getting in the way of experiencing a more fulfilling way of living one's day-to-day life.
Our journey through life is filled with challenges that put to the test our habitual ways of coping with and seeing the world. At times, we may find that we feel stuck or find that our usual ways of approaching such stressors no longer seem to be working.

Though everyone is distinct, I tend to work most often with anxiety and relationship issues, both of which manifest in a variety of different ways.
Research tells us that, of all factors, the therapeutic relationship has the most significant influence on treatment outcome. My primary focus of treatment is to establish and maintain a genuine and collaborative relationship; one which allows room for growth and healing. I approach treatment wholeheartedly and care deeply about those with whom I work. You will likely find me to be warm, insightful, and transparent. Drawing from Humanistic Psychology, Attachment Theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and Social Justice, my holistic approach to therapy is individualized to meet the unique needs and goals of each patient.

I deeply care about helping you navigate challenging relationship issues, whether a co-worker, or your partner of 15 years.
Accepting New Clients (Individuals and Couples)-Life can feel really overwhelming at times, especially when you are trying to manage the daily grind, while also being present in your personal and professional relationships. When you have a busy and demanding life your personal relationships often take a back burner and it’s hard to deal with problems effectively in the moment. Sometimes it’s easier to numb out or avoid with unhealthy habits. But, eventually these habits leave you feeling more stressed and disconnected, and problems that once appeared small snowball into larger issues.

At times you may find yourself feeling stuck in a repetitive loop, with outcomes that feel undesirable or out of your control. As humans, we are wired to repeat deeply learned patterns that, at a certain point, no longer serve us. Whether it’s in your work life, personal relationships, or your relationship to yourself, you may find yourself asking: “Why does this keep happening? How can I move past this?”

Effective psychotherapy is a collaborative process and begins with a motivated client and a well-trained clinician. Whether you're dealing with a challenging relationship, a frustrating career, or symptoms of anxiety or depression, therapy can be a highly effective resource. In the first couple of sessions, I conduct an evaluation to familiarize myself with your presenting issues and history. We then take steps to hone skills you already have and to develop new strategies to help you navigate your life more successfully. Depending on your needs and preferences, we can work in a short-term model or on an open-ended basis.

Are you yearning for a more fulfilling relationship? Are there things left unsaid, creating distance between you and your partner? Life can get busy, and it's easy to find yourselves caught in a cycle of misunderstandings and unresolved issues. If you're longing for a deeper connection and want to break free from the struggles that are holding you back, imagine a place where your feelings are heard, and positive change is within reach. In our fast-paced world, a 50-min therapy session may not always provide the immediate impact couples seek. That is why I hold couples therapy intensives, which is a weekend of deep therapeutic work!

People see me for many different reasons; Work or relationship difficulties, or a loss of some kind.
It’s a brave step to begin psychotherapy. I've been a clinician for 20 years and my experience has given me a realistic view of the process. I understand that it is not easy and that it requires time, effort, and money. I know that it's not immediately comfortable to talk about your private life with a relative stranger.

Relationship Issues Therapists
While need for human connection appears to be innate, the ability to form healthy, loving relationships is learned. Some evidence suggests that the ability to form a stable relationship starts to form in infancy, in a child's earliest experiences with a caregiver who reliably meets the infant's needs for food, care, warmth, protection, stimulation, and social contact. Such relationships are not destiny, but they are theorized to establish deeply ingrained patterns of relating to others. The end of a relationship, however, is often a source of great psychological anguish.
