Welcome to My Focused Mind. We serve families and individuals aged 6 and up. Our mission is to provide individualized interventions that not only address the challenges associated with neurodivergence, but also to build a foundation for long-term success and well-being. We embrace the unique challenges and strengths associated with being neurodivergent, with a specific focus on Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Our tailored executive functioning services helps individuals navigate the complexities of ADHD by enhancing their ability to manage time, maintain focus, and complete tasks effectively, among other things.

My role as a psychologist is to help you learn, get unstuck, and take control in your life. By creating a safe, nonjudgmental space, I hope to encourage your sense of connection, empowerment, and insight as we address your concerns. I believe the quality of the therapist-client relationship is the most important foundation of good therapy, and I work collaboratively with clients using several approaches, including CBT, ACT, and mindfulness-based psychotherapy.

Dr. Becky Fanton is a licensed and board certified clinical neuropsychologist. She has been conducting neuropsychological and psychological evaluations since 2003. She provides clinical neuropsychological evaluations for adolescents, adults, and older adults. Common referral questions pertain to ADHD, Learning Disabilities, Concussion, and Memory Disorders. Dr. Fanton will respond most quickly to email inquiries (rebecca.fanton-at-hushmal.com). Phone inquiries are not recommended. Dr. Fanton does not engage in treatment or psychotherapy; she only conducts psychological and neuropsychological assessments. Private pay only.

I believe we all develop "ways of being" in the world as a result of our innate temperament and early experiences. I am a clinician, consultant and evaluator for children, youth and young adults. I have helped families coping with trauma, divorce, behavior problems, substances, alcohol, eating disorders and other health-related difficulties, cognitive disorders or PDD. I have successfully helped individuals with anger, depression or anxiety, including OCD and PTSD. I work closely with families and schools treating those with ADHD, LD, and Developmental Disabilities, including Autism Spectrum disorders. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Family Therapy. Finally, I have a special interest in issues concerning adoption and individuals in the GLBTQIA+ community.

Accepting New Clients. I provide individual and couples therapy, and specialize in treating anxiety, relationship difficulties, trauma, and depression. I am committed to creating a therapeutic space that fosters bravery and invites people to reveal their authentic selves. Because I believe that therapy is most beneficial when it is lively and collaborative, I use a direct and open manner in treatment. I will work with you to create a therapy that is effective for you as an individual. I am licensed in Massachusetts and Colorado; at this time, I offer in-person therapy in Colorado and telehealth for clients in both states.

I'm the president of Pioneer Valley Psychological Assessment Inc., a group practice dedicated to psychological, educational, and neuropsychological evaluation of adults and children. Dr. Flannery Geier, Dr. Emily Love and I are three psychologists who specialize in identifying the psychological, cognitive, and/or academic profile of individuals and making recommendations to help support them in work, school, and their personal lives. We write user-friendly reports and work collaboratively with clients, families, and referral sources to deliver evaluations that assist in meaningful change and greater self-understanding.
