Dr. Millicent Mbua holds dual board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and a Family Nurse Practitioner. Graduated from University of Washington with a Doctor of Nursing Practice in family later completed psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner program from the University of New Hampshire. I specialize in providing psychiatric healthcare, medication management and psychoeducation as well as connecting clients to resources available in their communities to support their journey towards healing and optimal wellness.

I am a doctoral prepared, licensed, and double board-certified psychiatric and family nurse practitioner (DNP, FNP-C PMHNP-BC). I received my Doctor of Nursing Practice and Post Masters Certification in Psychiatric Mental Healthcare from Brandman University, Irvine California, Master of Science as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Walden University Minneapolis Minnesota, and Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information systems from the University of North Texas, Denton, Texas.

Additionally, as a nurse of 30 years, my experience covers a broad spectrum of providing a multitude of services to individuals and families from all walks of life and economic backgrounds. As a board certified PMHNP, my practice will focus on providing services from the adolescent years throughout the life span.
