She sees the role of a psychiatric nurse practitioner as a bridge between psychology and medicine. Her approach involves treating each person spiritually, mentally, and physically through pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatments.

Alina Naik, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC, has worked in a variety of health settings, including acute care, psychiatry and neurology. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Austin, with a certificate in Public Health. She then received her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, specializing as a Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Alina is passionate about equity and treats every client with empathy and understanding. Her approach to treatment utilizes culturally-competent, patient-centered care to promote optimal healing.
