Mental health conditions can be effectively treated and an optimal state of wellness can be achieved by establishing a therapeutic partnership in approaching the management of your care. By incorporating empowerment and psychoeducation I will provide you with the tools needed to effectively manage your mental health. I treat and manage all mental health disorders, including mood/anxiety disorders, adjustment disorders, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia spectrum disorders, PTSD, and personality disorders.

Hello! My name is Zechariah Thompson and I am a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. In close collaboration with a long-serving Psychiatrist, I provide the highest standards of evidence-based care through a comprehensive range of services including thorough psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and individualized, integrated management of mental health concerns with a focus on medication management.

I provide equitable, compassionate, and individualized care to individuals ages 6+. I am a LGBTQIA+ ally and particularly enjoy working with all marginalized populations. My approach is warm, nurturing, empathetic, trauma-informed and evidence based.

Travis Chase is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Pennsylvania who has been practicing since 2015. He obtained his first Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Nutrition and later went back to school completing a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Nursing with honors from his alma mater, Texas Christian University. He then graduated top of his class, earning his MSN in Family Nurse Practitioner from Samford University and Post-Master’s certification in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Regis College.

Dr. Inkles is a psychiatrist who has a background in pediatric medicine and who completed his pediatric residency at Nassau County Medical Center, New York. He then completed adult, child and adolescent psychiatry residencies at the Medical College of Pennsylvania. He has been on the faculty of the Drexel University College of Medicine and Saint Christopher's Hospital for Children. Dr. Inkles' approach to his work involves a psychodynamic model, employing a number of various psychodynamic approaches, which in turn, would help him best understand his patients, and help them.

Dr. Richard T. Weyler is a Psychiatrist in Pennsylvania who has been practicing since 2008. Dr. Weyler earned his B.A. in Biology from the University of Pennsylvania. He then earned his M.D. from Jefferson Medical College and completed a general psychiatry residency at Temple University Hospital. He then returned to the University of Pennsylvania to complete his child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Dr. Weyler provides a strengths-based and behavioral approach, in addition to prescribing medications when necessary.

Tony Krumbhaar is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Pennsylvania who has been practicing since 2016. He earned a BA in Psychology, a BSN in Nursing, and an MSN in Psychiatric-Mental Health from the University of Pennsylvania. Tony believes that we all have a unique background that contributes to our well-being through our family history, upbringing, and the experiences that we have in life.

Leon Cushenberry, MD Leon Cushenberry is a Psychiatrist in Pennsylvania who has been practicing since 2018. He completed medical school at the University of California, Davis and psychiatry residency at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC. Afterwards, he completed additional training at the University of Pennsylvania as a Public Psychiatry Fellow which allowed him to understand the impact of an individual's community and social factors on their lived experiences.

Dr. Mahmoud Elfatah is a Psychiatrist in Pennsylvania who has been practicing since 2009. Dr. Elfatah believes that helping others to better their quality of life makes him happy. It's a win-win equation! Outside of work, Dr. Elfatah enjoys philosophy and politics.

Scott Ambrass earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The College of New Jersey and an Associate Degree in Nursing from Thomas Jefferson University. While working for the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania on their neurological and brain injury rehabilitation unit, he completed his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Penn State University and his Master of Science in Nursing from Monmouth University. Scott was board certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in late 2018 and began with Life Stance in June of 2020.

People that I treat are often struggling with issues that prevent them from living the type of life they want to live, and it is from there that our work begins. I am skilled in many different approaches to treatment, so I do not use a "one size fits all" approach. After a comprehensive assessment of your concerns, we will discuss how best to proceed. My approach is comprehensive and focuses on you as an individual. In addition to being a psychologist, I am also a Pennsylvania state-licensed and board-certified psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) and Gerontological Nurse Practitioner (GNP).

I have expertise in psychodynamics, CBT, and psychopharmacology. I have experience in the clinical assessment and treatment of Adult ADHD, depression and anxiety. I specialize in treatment resistant depression, mindfulness based treatments for anxiety/PTSD, and addiction. I believe in a holistic approach which utilizes a combination of intensive psychotherapy and focused medication management when appropriate. In treatment-resistant cases, I have experience in using aggressive medication management with TCAs, MAOIs, and S-Ketamine. Therapy is a critical component of my management combining elements of psychoanalysis and CBT techniques.

A holistic approach to wellness, including emotional, physical and spiritual health. A central focus of Ethos is our encouragement of mindfulness, meditation, spirituality and healthy living in general for all of our patients. We can either refer our patients to these therapies or provide guidance onsite. Everyone is different, I don't judge. Sometimes people are doing well and just need a new prescriber or an ear to listen. Some want a mind, body, spirit overhaul. Some want to remember to breath, stop mood swings, rediscover their true self, stop hallucinating, reduce stress, find meaning, not harm them self, over come spiritual blocks, be less aggressive, more sexy, or less passive. Clients who want deep change are most likely to benefit if they are willing to look deeply and honestly into their own mind, behavior, body and soul. Change is hard work. Treatments can help remove obstacles but how you walk through life is up to you.
