I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who has been conducting therapy for over twenty years. While doing this work, I became aware of the severe shortage of providers able to prescribe psychotropic medication and its detrimental impact on my client's mental health. So, I decided to return to school to provide more integrated care. I became a registered nurse (RN) and completed my MSN at NYU’s Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program.
