I love working with any individual 18 and older who is experiencing difficulty with their mental well-being. My services include psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and meds + supportive therapy. I am an ally to the LGBTQIA+ community. I encourage folks to be active collaborators in their treatment. I am happy to now offer medication treatment for opioid use disorder.
I treat depressive disorders, bipolar disorders, anxiety disorders, attention deficit disorders, trauma disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorders, opioid use disorder, and others. I assist with tapering down or switching medications, even the difficult ones (SNRIs, benzodiazepines). At times, a compounding pharmacy may be used to assist with this process.
I have found over the years that unconditional positive regard for an individual is as powerful as my other tools (medication, therapy, lifestyle changes, etc).
