I specialize in treatment resistant depression, mindfulness based treatments for anxiety/PTSD, and addiction. I believe in a holistic approach which utilizes a combination of intensive psychotherapy and focused medication management when appropriate. In treatment-resistant cases, I have experience in using aggressive medication management with TCAs, MAOIs, and S-Ketamine. Therapy is a critical component of my management combining elements of psychoanalysis and CBT techniques.

I am Board Certified in Adult Psychiatry and have been practicing since 2005. I completed my residency from Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts and my Fellowship in Addictions from the Robert Johnson Wood Foundation. In 2014, I was featured in SJ Magazine as one of New Jersey’s top psychiatrists. I have experience working with adults as well as adolescents suffering from both psychiatric diagnosis and substance use disorders and have extensive experience working in both out-patient and in-patient settings.

Some want to remember to breath, stop mood swings, rediscover their true self, stop hallucinating, reduce stress, find meaning, not harm them self, over come spiritual blocks, be less aggressive, more sexy, or less passive. Clients who want deep change are most likely to benefit if they are willing to look deeply and honestly into their own mind, behavior, body and soul. Change is hard work. Treatments can help remove obstacles but how you walk through life is up to you.
