How can we help you ? I am a dual-certified and licensed Psychiatric Mental Health and Family Nurse Practitioner. Our Katonah office is a small private practice. This allows us to provide confidential individual care; to include medication management and cognitive-behavioral therapy for a variety of mental health issues. I am currently accepting new patients ages 18 years and up. We offer before and after hour as well as weekend appointments. Our office is conveniently located on the main strip in town. We do not accept commercial insurance, we will provide an insurance claim form for you to submit at the end of each visit.

I am a psychiatrist with training from The Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and New York University, and hold double board certifications in both general psychiatry and addiction psychiatry. Over the last five years, I've had the privilege of overseeing the psycho-oncology clinic at Norwalk Hospital, as well as serving as a core teaching faculty member within the Nuvance psychiatry residency program.

I am a board-certified adult psychiatrist. I graduated from Howard University College of Medicine and trained at New York Presbyterian Hospital, both Weill Cornell and Columbia campuses. I provide both psychopharmacology and psychotherapy for a broad array of mental health concerns. I am an adult psychiatrist with many years of experience. After working in inpatient, outpatient, and partial hospitalization programs for almost 15 years, I have chosen to focus on my private practice, where I can make a personal difference in the lives of my patients. I do not believe in medication-only treatment. I feel that each of my patients has very unique issues and problems, and needs to be treated as an individual, without one-size-fits-all solutions. I focus on getting to know my patients and creating an individualized treatment plan.

I am a board certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with seven years of combined inpatient psychiatric and medical experience. I earned my MSN from Hunter Bellevue School of Nursing and specialize in psychotherapy and medication management.

I have an established private child and adolescent psychiatry practice serving Westchester County and New York City. My training and experience are targeted toward the developmentally disabled, learning disabled and autism spectrum disorder population of both children and adults. Furthermore, I have experience in non-profits that served LI, NYC, and Westchester county which have granted me insight into school systems and various special education departments in these communities.

I am a Board Certified Psychiatrist, with a background in HIV, psychiatry, integrative psychiatry and treatment resistance. I have also pursued an additional two years of training in psychodynamic psychotherapy at the NYU psychoanalytic institute. I feel that most people neglect psychiatric symptoms and either suffer in silence , either because they do not realize that their symptoms are treatable or they believe that they have to be strong. Many people are on the wrong medication, on sub-therapeutic therapeutic doses. In my experience , with care and perseverance, most people can get better, and achieve a better quality of life.

I have extensive training in both inpatient and outpatient psychiatry. I prefer to see patients for both psychotherapy and psychopharmacology, although I am open to working with other therapists. I have affiliation with both NYU and Lenox Hill Hospital and enjoy teaching both psychiatry residents and medical students as a voluntary attending. I provide patient focused therapy. I believe that everyone responds differently to different treatment and the best way to achieve their goals is to take a collaborative approach.
