As a board-certified psychiatrists who is trained in both psychotherapy and psychopharmacology, I can help you choose a treatment that suits your unique needs. I provide integrated, holistic care that addresses mind, brain, body and environment while emphasizing safety, comfort, understanding and availability. No matter what kind of treatment you choose, I will listen to what you say.
While a diagnosis can be helpful in guiding your treatment, it shouldn't define you. I help people who struggle with depression, anxiety, insomnia, psychosis, attention deficit and addictions, along with problems that defy labels, but nonetheless interfere with achieving full satisfaction from relationships, work and leisure.
In addition to my private practice, I am on the full-time faculty of Columbia University, a leading center for psychiatric treatment and research, where I am the director of the fellowship in Addiction Psychiatry. I have received the Laughlin Fellowship from the American College of Psychiatrists and the Outstanding Resident Award from the NIMH.
