I am a board certified psychiatric nurse practitioner and I have been very fortunate to have been trained by experts in the field on how to optimally diagnose and treat individuals with OCD and related disorders as well as comorbid diagnoses. I am a professional member of the IOCDF as well as the TLC Foundation for BFRBs. Although I do specialize in OCD, I also do accept, and treat, adult patients across the entire diagnostic spectrum.

I am board -certified mental health nurse practitioner who simplifies mental health life experiences and also helps to address emotional challenges that could feel overwhelming at times by using pharmacotherapy approach. I am a Board Certified, child, adolescent and young adult psychiatrist in private practice in New York's Queens and Long Island areas. The purpose of my practice is to provide a thorough and individualized assessment of each of my patient’s unique needs, being mindful of all the different aspects of their lives.

Dr. Romanow is double board-certified in Adult Psychiatry and Forensic Psychiatry. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Medicine/Athletic Training and then attended Drexel University College of Medicine. After medical school, he completed his residency in Adult Psychiatry at the University of Virginia, where he obtained a certificate in additional psychotherapy training. After residency, Dr. Romanow completed a fellowship in Forensic Psychiatry at the University of Virginia.

She has dedicated her life and her career to psychiatry. She strives to provide the most up to date evidence based care. She utilizes psychopharmacology and psychotherapy to ensure positive treatment outcomes and long term success. She has successful experience working with patients diagnosed with anxiety and depressive disorders as well as OCD, PTSD, Bipolar and ADHD diagnoses.

Dr. Samuel Russell is a psychiatrist at Talkiatry. He is board certified in Addiction Psychiatry and Adult Psychiatry. Dr. Russell’s practice focuses on evidence based treatments for psychiatric illness that utilizes a combination of medications and psychotherapy modalities best suited for an individual patient and their needs. He offers this in conjunction with supportive or emotionally focused therapy in 30-minute follow-up visits. Weekly hour-long psychotherapy may be available if indicated. However, occasionally Dr. Russell may believe that different therapy is also needed and ask that you bring a therapist into your care team.

Catherine Colson is a board-certified mental health nurse practitioner. Catherine prioritizes listening, compassion, and cultivating a collaborative relationship with her patients. She is interested in anything and everything her patients want to tell her.

I have over 25 years experience treating people suffering from anxiety, depression, panic and bipolar disorders and schizophrenia. I also work with patients who have conflict in their everyday lives with personal relationships and work-related stress and who have obsessive compulsive, eating and sexual disorders.
