It is my endeavor to provide excellent and thoughtful psychopharmacology and therapy with compassion and attuned insight. With 12 years’ experience working inpatient, outpatient and in emergency settings. I started my career as a nurse in a state-run psychiatric emergency room where I treated patients along the entire spectrum of psychiatric illnesses; many of whom were in the most emotionally vulnerable time in their lives. Having experienced this severity of psychiatric illnesses everyday allowed me to develop a level of expertise to quickly recognize symptoms and develop an accurate diagnosis so we can initiate the best treatment plan for you from the very beginning. I understand that those suffering with emotional pain cannot wait months for relief, and they shouldn't have to. I understand the need for rapid healing.

I am a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I am passionate about providing quality, compassionate and comprehensive mental health services to adolescents and adults. I possess strong clinical skills enhanced by natural ability to build rapport with patients. I follow evidence-based guidelines blended with clinical experience, personal observation and intuition. As a PMHNP, my role is multifaceted, including educator, mental health advocate and therapist.

In tandem with our psychopharmacological treatment, I tend to encourage targeted psychotherapy alongside for those patients who do not currently have therapists. Dr. Jamil graduated from King Edward Medical University in Lahore, Pakistan. During his electives at Yale University, he developed an interest in research. Later, he joined a research team on Alzheimer’s disease at New York University, where he published a few research articles including two book chapters on Alzheimer’s disease. After residency, he completed a fellowship in Addiction Psychiatry at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital. He later moved to New Jersey and became Medical Director of a psychiatry unit at Christ Hospital - Carepoint Health, while also working in private practice

Anthony has been working in psychiatry for over 10 years. He is a skilled clinician that utilizes a biopsychosocial model to help people improve their lives. He is on staff at Mount Sinai hospital, working in the Faculty Practice and the Depression and Anxiety Center (DAC) of Mount Sinai. In his private practice, he treats a variety of conditions, ranging from mood disorders to ADHD. He holds a ANCC board certification in psychiatry.
