Hello! I am currently accepting new patients as of 1/14/2022. All visits are through telemedicine, so I can see anyone in the state of Massachusetts. My love for what I do in psychiatry, comes from the joy I get in helping others improve their lives. Most of my patients do not know which direction to go when then come to me, and that is ok. Some people come to me looking for second or third opinions about diagnosis or medications, some people are referred by a therapist to start medication. We can openly discuss decisions and options. My joy is in using Internal Family Systems therapy, non-dual meditation, Somatica sex and relationship coaching, and medicine when indicated, to help people discover their true Self and live life from the space of Self acceptance, presence and authenticity. I am a Harvard-trained psychiatrist treating adults, people facing concerns around pregnancy, and couples in metro Boston. Alice Husted is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) who has 10 years of experience treating adults and adolescents (13 and older) with an array of mental health issues. Alice has specialized experience working with patients who suffer from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), which has provided her expertise in treating disorders that are often a result of trauma, such as addictions, mood disorders, and eating disorders.

I provide expert treatment of Alcohol Use Disorders using Naltrexone. Abstinence is not required.

I am a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 10 years of clinical practice across a variety of settings. My approach to mental health and medication management is patient centered. Understandably, many come to new providers feeling nervous or even jaded and unheard by previous experiences in health care. I like to collaborate with my patients to design a treatment plan that feels right.
