About
I have extensive experience in treating Depression, Anxiety, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, psychiatric problems of elderly including Alzheimer's and other types of Dementias for the last 20 years. I did a subspecialty training in Geriatric Psychiatry and have dual Board Certification in Adult and Geriatric Psychiatry. I am very careful in treating my patients with medications and my goal is to find the lowest effective dose and avoid multiple medication use when possible.
I believe in the importance of psychotherapy in symptom control and help my patients understand some of the root causes of their emotional problems. I am attentive to my patients' concerns and available to them as much as possible when they need me.
I am accepting new patients in my Lexington, Back Bay, Boston and Cambridge offices for morning and afternoon hours untill 7pm.I accept BlueCross Blue Shield for insurance. I do online video sessions using zoom.
