I believe the most important aspects of a quality assessment and therapeutic relationship is active listening and clear communication. I appreciate that everyone has their unique story and personal struggles. Allotting 90 minutes for an initial encouter allows me the time to provide a comprehensive assessment and construct an individualized plan of care. Inherent vulnerabilities, trauma, medical conditions, and unhealthy lifestyles can all contribute to distress and dysfunction. My diverse training and experience enable me to address issues in all of these areas to promote recovery and wellbeing.

Hello! My name is Lindsey, and I'm a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner with over a decade of experience in the mental health field. I am so glad you are here and about to take the first step by asking for help. People often come into our lives for a reason, so I aim to make every interaction meaningful. Helping others reach their true potential through growth and recovery is something I'm passionate about. This starts with listening to understand who you are, what you've been through, and your goals for treatment. Together, we will develop a personalized plan to help guide you toward healing and overall wellness.

Mindspring Health is available for same/next week appointments via tele-health (GA and IN) or in-person sessions (GA). Our board-certified psychiatrists specialize in evidence-based and patient-centered treatment. Our psychiatrists completed training in General Psychiatry and Forensic Psychiatry at Emory University School of Medicine. We treat children, teenagers, adults, and elderly patients. We also specialize in forensic psychiatry and conduct independent medical evaluations, fitness for duty evaluations, competency to stand trial, and criminal responsibility evaluations.
