Hi, am the owner/ head Clinician at Hope Mental Health. When you come see me, you will get 2 providers in your care. Myself and one of my fabulous student/interns. The latter will take your medical/psych history and then I will come on and join to create the treatment plan and prescribe meds when evaluation is complete. On subsequent visits, you will see the student/intern and he/she will bring me on when needed when a change is needed to meds or the treatment plan. Our practice is integrative/functional in nature, meaning that we combine traditional psych meds with supplements, including vitamins to treat the root problem.

I moved from New York in 2015 to be closer to my family and to help raise my children. As most know it takes a village. I will admit the weather and palm trees don't hurt either. I moved from Charleston South Carolina to Boca Raton in the summer of 2017 to be with my wife and two daughters as she accepted a position as an oncologist at the Cleveland Clinic. I am board certified, and currently treat those with Anxiety and Panic Disorders, Bipolar Disorder, ADHD and Depression. At the current time I accept Aetna, Cigna, Optum, United Healthcare, Humana, Blue Cross Blue Shield and Medicare. My fee for service is set minimally above insurance rates.

I feel honored to have completed my Psychiatric Residency training at Saint Elizabeths Hospital in Washington DC. Having grown up in Cuba I moved in 2019 to be closer to my family and practice in the beautiful weather here in sunny Florida. Samantha Saltz, MD is a child, adolescent and adult psychiatrist who provides individualized, tailored treatment to each of her patients and believes in a team approach to medicine. She uses a dynamic style involving medication management, therapy and, when necessary, a medical workup. She consults with other providers, family members and, for children, schools, to ensure that each patient is treated to the fullest extent.

Dr. Cohen is the Medical Director of Southcoast Psycotherapy & Medical Services. In this capacity, he treats a broad spectrum of mental health issues such as anxiety, and depression. Dr. Cohen also provides medical psychiatric services for patients in need of psychostimulants for attention deficit disorder (ADD) and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). He is highly skilled and experienced in treating patients suffering from post – traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) as well as sleep disorders.

I was born in Miami but grew up right here in Boca Raton. I worked at Cleveland Clinic Hospital in Weston and later in the Miami Veterans Affairs Healthcare System. Serving those who served this country was one of the most humbling and enlightening experiences of my life, and it helped me to discover my true passion for Psychiatry.
