Hello, I’m Tim, a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I have always been interested in the mind-body connection and am very excited to work with new patients to help them define what they would like to work on and find a safe and effective path forward.

Justin is an ANCC Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with prescriptive authority in Colorado, Mississippi, and Louisiana. Justin is originally from Mississippi, and after serving four years in the United States Air Force as an aircraft avionic technician, he attended University of Southern Mississippi where he majored in nursing. Justin worked for five years as a Registered Nurse before earning his Master’s in Nursing from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs and began working as Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Justin treats children age 5 and over, adults, and geriatric patients.

Currently working at two outpatient clinics, I continue to expand my clinical proficiency and stay at the forefront of advancements in psychiatric care. My passion lies in helping patients through medication administration, therapy, and ketamine-assisted therapy. I am a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with over 14 years of Psychiatric Mental Health experience, focusing mostly in crisis treatment, alcohol and opioid dependence along with the treatment of schizophrenia, depression, and anxiety. I am originally from Alabama and attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham for my MSN. I also spent 7 years in the Army and am a combat veteran. I have been in Nursing since 2013 and mental health since 2016 where I got my start at the Department of Veterans Affairs in Tennessee working with inpatient psychiatry. Working with veterans helped me to realize my next career goal of becoming a PMHNP. I set forth and graduated in 2020 with my MSN as a PMHNP.

I've had an exciting journey in healthcare, starting as an EMT at just 16 and evolving into a specialist in pediatric nursing and emergency/trauma care. After earning my BSN and MSN-Ed from the University of Central Florida, I'm now on the thrilling path to a DNP at Regis University. Alongside my studies, I'm a full-time assistant professor dedicated to shaping the next generation of healthcare professionals. I also completed my Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) education at Colorado State University-Pueblo, where I've developed a deep passion for mental health across all ages. I am a Board-certified adult psychiatrist, practicing Psychiatry since graduating from medical school in 2005. I have also done fellowship in Psychoanalysis from Boston Psychoanalytic Institute and Society and also holds an unrestricted license to prescribe Suboxone for management of patients with opiate addiction. I am originally from Pakistan and come from a family of physicians and surgeons. Following the footsteps of my family members and keeping the tradition of practicing medicine alive, I am now the fourth-generation physician in my family and the third generation practicing medicine in the USA.
