I"m a Board Certified Adult and Child Psychiatrist and have been in private practice since 1982 . My work in helping people through difficult times , has been my calling in life. I was born and raised in India and witnessed much suffering all around ,becoming a doctor gave me hope that I could perhaps help . I came to the USA to further my studies and since then have been in private practice. In the mean time I have also raised 3 children and dealt with major issues of Migration, Cultural assimilation, personal losses , and learnt through experiences of life, however the most valuable lessons have come from my work with patients.

We are going through a major mental health crisis. I specialize in depression, and anxiety, mood disorders, especially childhood trauma- the topic of my research at UPenn, eating disorders, autism,ADHD. I work well with schools, blended/ mixed families, and have a special interest in College Mental health, having worked at CAPS clinic at UPenn and the Depression Project at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. I have a collaborative approach to patient care where parents and the patient are partners in treatment with the doctor. My approach is - start low and go slow on meds. Any meds I will not give my own kids, I wouldn't yours!

Lena is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). She has experience treating children, adolescents, and adults with psychiatric disorders including Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, Bipolar, Schizophrenia, OCD, PTSD, Sleeping Disorders, and Substance Abuse. She is a passionate advocate for the LGBTQ+ community and specializes in LGBTQ+ mental health care. She also specializes in IV therapy including Ketamine infusions, vitamins, and NAD+ infusions. Ketamine is used for the treatment of depression. As an additional option for specialty care, we are proud to offer Concierge services.

Varun Mohan, D.O. has a Bachelor of Arts degree from New York University and is a graduate of the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency in General Psychiatry at Nassau University Medical Center in Long Island, New York with additional fellowship training in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York where he served as a Chief Resident. Dr. Mohan provides psychiatric evaluations and treatment services to children, adolescents, and adults.

I specialize in treating patients with medications, therapy or both. I have particular interest in Family therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (including Exposure Therapy), and Psychodynamic therapy. I commonly work with patients experiencing issues with mood, anxiety, stress, attention/concentration, school, work, family dynamics, or relationships. Originally from the midwest, I attended medical school at the University of Minnesota- Twin Cities. I completed my adult psychiatry residency training at the University of Chicago-Medicine and my child and adolescent psychiatry training at UCLA.

Joy Kennedy, MD is a Board-Certified Child, Adolescent and Adult Psychiatrist in California who has been practicing since 2006. She received her Bachelor of Science from The University of Texas at Austin. She then completed her medical degree, general psychiatry residency, and child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship training at The University of Texas-Southwestern Medical Center. Dr. Kennedy offers a comprehensive treatment approach to both individual and family problems. She integrates psychotherapy and medications when necessary, and strongly believes in tailoring the treatment plan to fit the unique needs of each client.
