Hello, I’m Tim, a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I have always been interested in the mind-body connection and am very excited to work with new patients to help them define what they would like to work on and find a safe and effective path forward.

From the moment I enrolled in Jacksonville State University where I eventually earned both my master’s and Doctorate of Nursing with a specialty in Adult Gerontology Acute Care to my travels to the University of Texas where I earned my specialty in Primary Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. As the proud owner of Hope Psychiatric Consultants. The “Hope” in Hope Psychiatric Consultants happily stands for “Handing Out Positive Energy.” I ideated and implemented this telehealth psych platform to give those in need the medical attention and listening ear they need for their mental health.

I offer both in-person and virtual visits. I am a unique provider for you in several ways. I have 25 years experience! I offer medication and psychotherapy visits. Also, I am an author and give all new patients a signed copy of my Amazon bestseller, "Prescription For Positivity." It focuses on stress management strategies. I am honored to help people with some of their deepest needs. I reach out to people who have depression, anxiety, bipolar, and addiction issues. They are feeling stuck. They can't make progress in their life, or there is great personal distress. In any case, I am here to help!

We are accepting patients. I am a Doctor of Nursing Practice with certification in FNP and Family Psychiatry. I have been practicing for over 9 years as a Certified NP and over 30 years as a BSN RN. Recognizing that health is wealth, it is imperative that your mentally ill health is taken seriously because the disease of the mind is the disease of the body. I provide early intervention and integrative approaches, such as communication with all providers, schools, and support teams. I design individualized treatment plans for a variety of mental health disorders. I primarily work with children, adolescents, and young adults. I encourage relationships within family systems, fostering opportunity for patients to be heard and to feel known within the context of their story.
