I am passionate about working with adolescents 14 and older, young adults and adults. I strive to help people discover new, more effective habits that reduce suffering and help them create vibrant, aware and connected lives that are in line with their values.
Holding degrees in health and sport science (Wake Forest), nursing (University of Delaware), and clinical mental health counseling, I am able to understand physical as well as mental challenges. I support the emotional and behavioral needs of athletes and also provide a space for those suffering from common to complex conditions due to illness or disability.
I believe my job as counselor is to be an affirming companion to you on your journey to wholeness. My passion for clinical engagement is fueled by my belief that clients come to psychotherapy, not only with pain and struggles, but with inherent value, areas of resilience, and the capacity to grow.
