Life is hard and it absolutely can feel overwhelming to manage sometimes! We have all been there. It's what we do next is the key. As a therapist, I am right here with you during those difficult times. As a seasoned child development and medical social worker, I’ve worked extensively in community & hospital settings with children through young adults who have experienced acute and chronic medical conditions and mental health challenges. A substantial part of my professional background consists of working with the child welfare system, while also being a foster parent and adoptive mother to three amazing children with special needs.
I have a special interest and expertise in navigating through different life stages whether as a teenager, a young adult in college, or as a parent raising children with special needs. I use CBT and Strength Based approaches with my clients. I provide a safe, compassionate and supportive environment so we can tackle what life is handing us right now!
My primary objective is to help find your strengths and empower you to have the confidence and tools to function. My greatest passion is providing a listening ear that can relate to you and help you find your voice to conquer “hard things”.
