I work from a mix of client-centered, solution-focused and cognitive behavioral approaches. Goals are individually tailored, but the objective is to give clients the opportunity to discuss what feels most important to them, while simultaneously teaching the tools they need to face their obstacles and move beyond them.
Therapy can be both difficult and healing - sometimes both in the same day. It's important to find a therapist you feel comfortable with, someone who is willing to be on your team.
