Jared Dalton MSW, RSW

About

Jared Dalton, MSW, RSW, is a Registered Social Worker, Psychotherapist, and Clinical Consultant in private practice. He is currently the Clinical Director of Blueprint Counselling in London, Ontario, and an adjunct lecturer in Social Work at Kings University College. During his past 11 years in the field, he has had the honor of supporting individuals, families, and groups through his work in hospitals, the criminal justice system, and post-secondary student counseling prior to moving into full-time private practice in 2021. His work is informed by his training in Internal Family Systems Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Existential-Humanistic Psychotherapy, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, and Narrative Therapy.

Motivated by his own lived experience, Jared is particularly passionate about collaborating with and supporting individuals who lie outside of society's margins. His greatest teachers are members of the 2SLGBTQ+ community, neurodivergent individuals (autistic and ADHD), people who use substances, and people who have experienced a mental illness. It is this passion that has ignited his interest in the potential offered by the world of transpersonal psychology and psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy. He is a clinical affiliate of Therapsil, a patient-centered advocacy organization based out of British Columbia that provides support to patients seeking legal therapeutic access to psilocybin in Canada. He is committed to thoughtful reflection on the ethics, expectations, and emergent possibilities offered by psychedelic medicines.
