I have been working for 21 years with people who are struggling with depression, anxiety, anger, loss, abuse, self-esteem, divorce, and other issues that are negatively affecting their lives and their relationships. Often we don't know why we stay in unhealthy relationships, behave inappropriately, say something we don't intend to say, or act in a shameful way. In the safe, non-judgmental therapy setting that I offer, you will be able to explore, come to understand and change these ways that are causing you distress
Together we can look at how your past is affecting your present life and how you came to be where you are now, get a better sense of who you really are, and how you want to move forward in your life.
Moving forward is often facilitated by our noticing and working with your dreams, or using relaxation to access deeper parts of yourself. My life and my practice have been enhanced by my own personal therapy, ongoing collegial contact, and participation in courses, workshops and seminars.
