I use a developmental-attachment lens to understand a person of any age in the context of their self development and the important people in their life. Whether it's a child, youth or adult, I know that we all struggle between the expectations of others and connecting into our own desire for balance within our self-- emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually. Connecting back into our self is the first step in being able to express our feelings and needs more clearly and cultivating positive relationships with those we love.

We offer a range of psychology services to support children, parents, and families as a whole. Our approach supports the family and empowers parents as agents of change. Welcome! I work primarily with anxiety, relationship issues, grief and loss, and life transitions. I also have a special interest in supporting families and individuals experiencing disability, medical complexity, or foster care and adoption. I work with both adults and children and I really enjoy both these age groups. As a former teacher, I have a lot of exerience with ADHD and emotion regulation, as well as attachment disruptions and trauma.

North Land Family Counselling Group is a group of independent practitioners who offer a range of counselling and psychological services including individual, family, and group counselling. Psycho-educational assessments are also provided to help individuals gain insight into their learning so appropriate supports can be put into place. Our team of professionals includes Registered Psychologists and Clinical Social Workers who utilise our expertise and compassion to offer the appropriate guidance and support to those experiencing challenges in their lives.

In my office, I strive to create a space that allows clients to unpack all the difficult, messy, and sometimes beautiful things life has thrown at them, and help create a path forward with new insight.

We offer a variety of counselling services which are tailored to the unique needs of each individual client. All sessions are based on a foundation of respect and acceptance. Everyone in our clinic strives to offer a safe and supportive environment for all clients. We have registered psychologist, provisional psychologists, certified counsellors, and student interns.

I am Registered Psychologist with a master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from City University of Seattle. My primary area of experience has been in sexual trauma, as counsellor working at the Sexual Assault Centre of Edmonton. However, in private practice, I see a variety of different individuals, children and adolescence, with unique and diverse needs. I treat PTSD and trauma, depression, anxiety, relationship difficulties, and many other life difficulties people may experience. My passion is working with anyone who feels like they need to be heard.
