Welcome! I am a Registered Psychologist in the province of Alberta. I work primarily with anxiety, grief and loss, and life transitions. I also have a special interest in supporting families and individuals experiencing disability, medical complexity, or foster care and adoption. I work with both adults and children and I really enjoy both these age groups. As a former teacher, I have a lot of exerience with ADHD and emotion regulation, as well as attachment disruptions and trauma.
I am gentle and quiet, and I take a person-centred approach focusing on building a secure therapeutic relationship. I often encourage people to understand themselves better, to be brave, and to make choices about whatever life has thrown at them.
Also, just so you know, you're welcome to book a session because you just want to tell someone how you feel lonely a lot, or you wish you felt less sad. If any of this sounds like a good fit for you, please feel free to reach out for more information.
