Valley Connections Counselling is a Psychotherapy practice with clinics in Dundas and Burlington. We offer counselling for adults, children, adolescents, families and couples. Our fees are often covered by extended healthcare plans. We are a team of Registered Psychotherapists, Child Life Specialists, and Counselling Interns, offering services in person and virtually. We emphasize the importance of the therapeutic relationship and we provide a warm, non-judgmental, and supportive counselling environment. We also offer Clinical Supervision for mental health practitioners in accordance with the CRPO.

Welcome! I have substantial experience working with clients experiencing anger management concerns, substance abuse, anxiety, depression, post traumatic stress disorder, cultural and boundary disputes and domestic violence as well as couple counselling and those with relationship challenges I have worked with clients of all ages, starting as young as 10 years of age. I also provide clinical consultation/supervision for other therapists.

We provide individual psychotherapy, couple therapy, family therapy, sex therapy, psychological and vocational assessment and psycho-educational assessment and intervention. We can help you and your family cope with and overcome life challenges, relationship conflicts, traumas, and mental health concerns. Our services are provided by registered psychologists, registered psychotherapists and experienced masters/doctoral clinicians under supervision.

I have worked as a clinician for over 25 years. I have considerable experience with family, couples and individual therapy. Working with addictions, mental health, trauma, and youth related issues are strong areas of interest. As a clinical traumatologist and an Advanced Clinical Supervisor, I have specific interest and extensive training in trauma. A significant component of my private practice is couples and family therapy. Couples therapy is an opportunity to help couples that are simply stuck move towards resolution and rediscover a meaningful relationship. There are times where resolution may not be the goal for both parties. Mediation services are also available.
